Suppliers
Manage your upstream suppliers — fabric mills, yarn spinners, dye houses, and raw material providers. Declaring your supply chain in Pasera makes the full production trail visible to your brand partners.
Adding a supplier manually
- Go to Suppliers in the sidebar
- Click Add supplier
- Enter:
- Company name
- Country
- Tier — Tier 2 (fabric/dye) or Tier 3 (yarn/farm)
- Supplies — what they provide (e.g., fabric, yarn, dye)
- Contact email — optional, can add later
Manually added suppliers appear immediately in your supplier list. You can create products and materials on their behalf and link them to production requests — no need for the supplier to be on Pasera.
Inviting a supplier to Pasera
After adding a supplier with an email, click Send invite in the table. They receive an email with a link to:
- Create their own Pasera account
- Set up their factory profile
- Register their products with materials and environmental data
Once they join, their status changes and their self-reported data replaces any placeholder data you entered.
Supplier states
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Manual entry | You added them — they haven’t joined Pasera yet |
| Invited | You sent an invite email — waiting for them to accept |
| Confirmed | They’ve joined Pasera and verified their own data |
How suppliers participate in DPP requests
When a brand creates a batch using your factory, and the product references materials from your suppliers:
- You receive the main DPP request (Tier 1)
- Each supplier automatically receives their own request for their portion
- They fill their data independently
- You can track their status on your request detail page
