Materials Catalog

Your materials catalog is the foundation of accurate environmental scoring. Register the raw materials you source from your suppliers so you can link them to production requests.

Adding a material

Navigate to Products and select the Materials tab. Click Add material.

For each material, provide:

• Name — e.g., “Organic Cotton Jersey 180gsm”
• Type — Cotton (organic), Polyester (recycled), etc.
• Supplier — which of your suppliers provides this material
• Origin country — where the material comes from
• Certification — GOTS, OEKO-TEX, BCI, etc.
• Environmental data — CO2/kg, water/kg, energy/kg

Linking materials to production requests

When you receive a production request from a brand, Step 2 lets you connect your real materials to the brand’s product specification. For example:

Brand requests: 95% organic cotton You link: “Organic Cotton Jersey from Bursa Fabric Mills (Turkey, GOTS certified)”

This connection is saved and reused for future batches of the same product.

Template reuse

The second time you receive a request for the same product, your material links are pre-filled from the previous batch. Just confirm or update quantities and dates — no need to re-enter material data.

Editing and archiving materials

Click any material row to edit its details. If you stop sourcing a material, click Archive to remove it from active selection without deleting historical data linked to previous batches.
