Managing Suppliers
Connecting with factories
Go to Suppliers in the sidebar and click Invite supplier.
For each supplier, provide:
- Factory name — their legal or trade name
- Contact email — the person who will fill DPP data
- Country — where the factory is located
- Tier — Tier 1 (garment/assembly), Tier 2 (fabric/dye), or Tier 3 (yarn/farm)
- Notes — optional internal notes
The factory receives an email invitation to join Pasera. Once they accept, their status changes from “invited” to “active”.
Supplier states
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Added manually, no invite sent yet |
| Invited | Email invitation sent, waiting for the factory to accept |
| Confirmed | Factory has joined Pasera and verified their profile |
Viewing supplier profiles
Click any supplier in the table to see their:
- Facilities — physical production sites with energy mix and water source
- Certificates — GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ISO 14001, etc. with expiry dates
- Sub-suppliers — their Tier 2/3 partners (clickable to view profiles)
- Product catalog — what they produce (fabrics, yarns, etc.) with materials and environmental data
- Batches — all batches produced by this supplier, with status and PEFCR scores
Using supplier products in your products
When creating a product, in the Materials step you can:
- Select a connected supplier from the dropdown
- Choose from their product catalog
- Material type and origin auto-fill from their registered data
This creates a traceable link from your finished product back through the supply chain.
Adding suppliers manually (managed suppliers)
Not all suppliers are on Pasera yet. You can add them manually without sending an email invite:
- Click Add supplier and choose Add manually
- Enter the factory name, country, and tier
- The supplier appears with a Managed by you badge
What you can do with managed suppliers
- Create products on their behalf — register what they produce with materials and environmental data
- Create materials on their behalf — add raw materials to their catalog
- Link their products to your product’s supply chain
When a managed supplier eventually joins Pasera (via a separate invite or self-signup), their account is automatically linked. Your data is preserved, and they can update it with their own verified information.
Supplier table features
The suppliers table supports:
- Search — filter by name
- Sort — by name, country, tier, or number of batches
- Filter by tier — show only Tier 1, 2, or 3
- Filter by country — narrow to a specific sourcing region
