Brand Guide
This guide covers everything you need to use Pasera as a brand — from creating your first product to publishing Digital Product Passports.
Overview
As a brand, you use Pasera to:
- Create passports — one screen: name, category, composition, weight. A live passport with a QR code exists the moment you click Create passport, marked Preliminary.
- Verify with suppliers — email your factory a confirmation link. They confirm country of manufacture and upload certificates — no account needed — and the passport upgrades to Verified automatically.
- Share — download branded QR codes, preview consumer pages
- Go deeper (optional) — record production runs as batches, collect factory data via DPP requests, track warehouse stock and shipments. These live under the Advanced group in the sidebar.
- Integrate — sync with Shopify/WooCommerce, set up webhooks
The classic product → batch → request → review flow is still fully supported — it is now the optional refinement path for real production data, not the starting point.
Quick start
- Sign up at pasera.app with email or Google
- Create your brand organization during onboarding
- Go to Products and click New passport — enter name, category, composition, and weight
- Click Create passport — your passport is live immediately with a QR code, marked Preliminary
- Email your supplier the confirmation link from the same screen
- When the supplier confirms, the passport upgrades to Verified
- Download the QR code and share the consumer page
Working with an agent
If a sourcing or buying agent manages your brand, they can do all of the above on your behalf and switch into your account to act as you. When you are ready to take over directly, they send you an owner invite and you inherit everything already set up. See the Agent Guide.
