Factory Guide
This guide covers how to use Pasera as a factory or supplier — filling DPP requests, managing certificates, and registering your products.
Overview
As a factory, Pasera is free to use. You use it to:
- Register your products — fabrics, yarns, dyes, garments with materials and environmental data
- Upload certificates — GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ISO 14001, etc. (AI extracts metadata automatically)
- Fill DPP requests — guided form pre-filled from your profile
- Manage suppliers — declare your Tier 2/3 partners
Why register proactively?
You don’t need to wait for a brand to invite you. By registering your products with materials and environmental data upfront:
- Brands can find you and see what you produce
- DPP requests auto-fill from your catalog — less work per request
- Your data is reused across all brand partners
- You demonstrate compliance readiness before the 2028 deadline
Working with an agent
Some factories are managed by a factory agent who handles requests and proposals on their behalf from one inbox. If an agent manages your account, they can fill requests and propose orders for you, and can hand the account over to you with an owner invite when you are ready. See the Agent Guide.
