Suppliers
Your supplier roster is the set of factories in your network. It combines two groups:
- Managed factories — factories your agent organization created and runs directly.
- Linked factories — factories connected to one of your client brands’ supply chains. These show which of your brands use them.
Adding a factory
From Suppliers, add a factory with its legal name and country.
- Brand agents must attach a new factory to one of your client brands, because a factory exists in the network as that brand’s supplier. Pick the brand when you create it.
- Factory agents can add factories directly to the roster.
As with customers, you can invite the factory’s owner now or later, and operate on their behalf in the meantime.
What the roster shows
For each factory you see the brands that use it, how many batches it is involved in, and how many certificates it holds, so you can spot gaps (for example a factory with expiring certificates) across the whole network.
Tiers
Factories can sit at Tier 1, 2, or 3. When a client brand sends a DPP request, linked sub-suppliers automatically receive their portion of the request, the same cascade described in How It Works.
